This past Saturday I was pleased that I didn't have to get up at 7am for soccer. My stomach was not pleased with the absence of the usual Waffle House afterwards. So I had to please my stomach and it's a good thing we went. The food that day was peaked! You know of this phenomenon, that sometimes food at a usual place will just taste better, wayyyy better than usual. I was not alone in my "this taste crazy good" so it wasn't just my brain saying thank you. It was the old dude cooking that day!
Sat was a hard day in the kitchen. 4 broken drill bits, a broken wrench ( a mutherfrakkin broken wrench I tell ya), and what seemed like the worst cut made yet on the most expensive cabinet. I was none to happy. Remember that dremel trio we bought. Just about broke that too. It was not the right tool for the job.
Sunday made me much happier with the new blades installed in the jigsaw which made everything much better. BTW, do you know why WD40 is called that? I couldn't remember the 40 part, so I didn't quite pass the quiz show at Lowes.
Turkey Day is upon us!!!
